The red wine »Edition Dagernova« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weinmanufaktur Dagernova has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
The fruit here is still somewhat closed (a bit of lingonberry), while the spicy slate component is already fully developed. In the mouth, the wine shows impeccable balance: the concentrated material matches the body beautifully, while ripe acidity and minerality contrast well with the supple texture.
