The white wine »Buntsandstein« Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Odinstal has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Toasty aroma in the glass, sesame oil, pear, yellow apple skin, straw, meadow herbs, delicate caramelised notes, also veal stock, roasted fennel and nuts. Present fruity sweetness on the palate, backed by a mineral and herbal flavour, very delicate phenolic texture, with a savoury, ethereal echo.
