The white wine »Muschelkalk« Riesling halbtrocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Odinstal has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Spontaneous fermentation aroma at the beginning, needs air and then opens up with notes of branch green and white peach, then also fennel green, chamomile, white mushroom, coffee. Creamy sweet texture on the palate, now also slightly exotic hints, a savoury phenolics grip grabs hold from the middle, also with a creamy, savoury finish.
