A heady, almost volatile lift of dried Morello cherry fills the nose, followed by a notion of polished mahogany. The palate shows the same aromatic intensity and a gentle grip of finest tannin, alongside an edge of leather. This is concentrated and compelling, a Pinot Noir that clearly speaks Italian. Wow.
