Tarte flambée with leek & ham

Give your snacks some Italian flair with these tasty apertivo with leek and ham.

Ingredients (2 servings)
1 packet pre-rolled shortcrust pastry bases
60 g creme frâiche
40 g ham
2-3 leeks
pepper, ground
  • Preheat the oven to 270°C (top & bottom heat) and prepare the tart bases straight from the fridge.
  • Place the 2 tart bases without baking paper on a baking tray.
  • Spread with the crème fraîche, leaving a 1cm border around the edges.
  • Top the bases with ham and finely chopped leek.
  • Bake the tarte flambée on the lowest rack of the oven for 7-9 minutes until crisp.
  • Finally, season with pepper.
