The chocolatey brown shade is not only easy on the eyes, it's also a great inspiration for novel desserts.

Another year, another color – at least according to the Pantone color institute, which presented their color of the year on December 5. After the vivid "Peach Fuzz" and "Viva Magenta" in the last two years, the coming year will be dominated by a warm, earthy, tone reminiscent of coffee and chocolate. According to the Color Institute, this family of brown tones not only stands for "modesty" and "down-to-earthness", but can also be highlighted with subtle, yet brilliant, nuances. For this reason, brown is the perfect color for the coming year.

For promotional reasons, the color was introduced as part of a cooperation with the London Eye. In addition to the new color of the year, Pantone also presented five Color of the Year 2025 palettes, each comprising seven complementary colors, designed to showcase Mocha Mousse in the best possible light. Not one to buck a trend, Falstaff went in search of the perfect recipe to o with Mocha Mousse.
