Wild Kitchen in Modra was founded by chef Martin Plaštiak, who, after years of experience abroad, brought to his native region the concept of modern cuisine based on local and seasonal ingredients with a subtle Mediterranean twist.
The restaurant is located in a sensitively renovated Modra house with a cozy atmosphere and an open kitchen that allows guests to see the food preparation process.
The menu changes according to the season and the availability of ingredients from local suppliers and growers from the Little Carpathians region. The cuisine is based on simplicity, quality ingredients and pure flavors. An important part of the concept is also the restaurant's own garden, from which herbs and some vegetables come.
The wine list naturally focuses mainly on Modra wineries, thus supporting the local winemaking tradition.
