HIER KOMMT CANONITA! Die Kleinstadt Sollér im Nord-Osten Mallorcas ist berühmt für ihren Orangenanbau. Von hier stammt die qualitativ beste Saftorange, die Canoneta. Sie liefert die Zutat für einen außergewöhnlichen Aperitif namens Canonita, der das mediterrane Flair der Insel direkt ins Glas transportiert. Dafür braucht es die Schalen der Canoneta-Orange. Um diesen ihre fruchtige Frische zu entlocken, wird ein innovatives Verfahren angewendet: Nach der Ernte zwischen Januar und Mai werden die Orangen direkt geschält. Durch eine spezielle Technologie der Dampfmazeration, die in der Welt der Spirituosen einmalig ist, geben die Schalen ihr intensiv-fruchtiges und natürliches Aroma frei. Das Ergebnis ist eine hocharomatische Essenz aus den ätherischen Ölen der Orange. Gleichzeitig wird ein Mazerat aus mallorquinischen Kräutern hergestellt.
