Domaine Donatsch, founded in 1897, has been run by the Donatsch family for over 125 years. Thomas Donatsch was a pioneer and revolutionary in Swiss viticulture. Today, his son Martin Donatsch is the fifth generation to run the winery in Malans. He is an advocate of Burgundy varieties and is equally passionate about the indigenous Malanser Completer grape. Donatsch's wines are sought-after rarities even in Switzerland. Few bottles leave the country's borders and fetch record prices at wine auctions.
