The sekt Petgen-Dahm Pinot Rosé Brut, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Ökonomierat Petgen-Dahm has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Gerhild Burkhard, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach, Ulrich Sautter, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Moselle in Germany.
Tasted from half bottle. Light orange in colour. It's almost a sweet wine nose: baked quince, candied orange peel and wild strawberry, also apricot, apple jelly and a hint of blossom honey. Smooth on the palate, it's very round and with finely softened phenolics. The mild mousse nevertheless brings freshness to the full-bodied structure.
