It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Chardonnay from the region Saxony in Germany.
The nose is yeasty, but also has floral and peppery notes too. There's a pithy acidity that tingles on the palate, the fresh mousse adds tension and piquancy, and the sweetness of the dosage rounds off the finish.
