The white wine »Alte Reben« Gerlachsheim Herrenberg Silvaner Spätlese trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Becksteiner Winzer has been rated in 2019 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Baden in Germany.
Spicy, initially unfolding aromas: lime blossom, butter and saffron. In the mouth with great density, a hint of phenolics, a savoury, varietal spiciness fills the palate quite early on. You can taste the complexity and depth of the old vines.
