The prosecco Vecchie Uve Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Brut, vintage 2018 from the winery Bele Casel has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Glera, Bianchetta, Perera from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright silver with straw-yellow glints and persistent mousse. A defined fragrance of ripe pears and white peach, and scented notions reminiscent of pineapple and banana, with resonating white chocolate tones. Multilayered. On the palate, there is plenty of juice and well-integrated, creamy mousse, finely balanced. Accessible and very pleasurable.
