The red wine Ilatraia IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Brancaia has been rated in 2012 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep ruby purple colour. Very intense on the nose, initially emphasising savoury notes, lots of herbs, then also cassis and raspberry. Very vivid and juicy on the palate, opens with dense, rich tannins, coated in lots of sweet fruit, builds up over a long time, firm drive on the finish.
