The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Brancaia has been rated in 2020 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
This has a dark bright ruby red colour. There are lovely spicy aromas, with a subtle oaky note, ripe cherry, and rich wild berry nuances. It is very juicy on the palate, with a well-integrated acidity, elegant cherry fruit, and a harmonious attack and finish.
