The red wine Tinto Uno, vintage 2016 from the winery Can Axartell has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Callet, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir from the region Balearic Islands in Spain.
Cherry with chocolaty undertones, oak barrel patina, menthol and black pepper, and some clove. Juicy on the palate, mellow tannins in a rather reservedly extracted quantity, ripe very well integrated acidity, a pronounced mineral imterplay and a slight sweetness in the fruit give the wine something very appetizing. It has a classic Spanish elegance that is not defined by power and density.
