The red wine Sammarco IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Castello dei Rampolla has been rated in 2015 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark and dense ruby colour. Opens on the nose with fine spicy notes, lots of ripe dark wild raspberry, also some beetroot, plum, inviting. Grippy finely meshed tannins on the palate, shows many layers, savoury, good potential, but still needs ageing.
