The red wine D'Alceo Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Castello dei Rampolla has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Impenetrable, rich ruby-violet. Opens with appealing notes of cassis and blackberries, with some smoke and mint. Grippy, finely meshed tannins at the core, opens up in many layers, dark berryish fruit, still needs a few years.
