The red wine D'Alceo Toscana IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello dei Rampolla has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Impenetrable ruby colour. Enchanting nose of rich elderberry, cassis and liquorice. Lining the palate with bags of vibrant fruit, unfolding hearty, grippy tannin. Exquisitely earthy notes on the finish with a mellow texture.
