Dark, rich ruby. Very compact nose, lilac, some chocolate, lots of elderberry, cassis, light mineral notes in the background. Compact and round in attack and finish, shows lots of dense and concentrated fruit, blackberry, cassis, very tightly woven, but also wonderfully soft tannin, floats along, fantastic, long finish.
