The red wine D'Alceo Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2020 from the winery Castello dei Rampolla has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby red with purple reflections. Very complex aromas with notes of ripe fruits of the forest, hints of cassis, forest floor, mint and graphite. Elegant and straightforward on the palate, with plenty of tension, fine tannins and a long-lasting finish. Plenty of further ageing potential.
