The red wine Vigna d’Alceo IGT, vintage 2001 from the winery Castello dei Rampolla has been rated in 2004 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling dense ruby-violet, very compact on the nose, blackberry, cassis and some chocolate; cedar wood, some licorice, then comes with enormously dense tannin, multi-layered, builds up more and more, excellent length, is just at the beginning of its development, enormous potential.
