The red wine Siepi IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Castello di Fonterutoli has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby with purple glints. Complex, deep nose, shows notes of blackberry, pomegranate, fine light tobacco, some cardamom adds savouriness. Juicy, rich and supple, shows notes of cherry and blackberry on the palate, opens with silky tannin, pulls through rich, precise, very long.
