The red wine Siepi Toscana IGT, vintage 2020 from the winery Castello di Fonterutoli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby with a drop of purple. On the nose there are notes of rich cherry fruit, plus blackberry, also of generous chocolate and leather, filigree drawn, exciting. On the palate it is expressive and radiant, showing compact dark berry fruit, plus polished, creamy tannins, without denying its Tuscan roots, grippy and powerful finish.
