The red wine Siepi Toscana IGT, vintage 2004 from the winery Castello di Fonterutoli has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Shiny, dark ruby with garnet rim. Finely drawn nose with notes of liquorice, blueberries, balsamic cassis notes and subtle resinous components. Spreads out very well and full at the front, but then becomes somewhat drying and brittle at the back.
