The red wine Siepi Toscana IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Castello di Fonterutoli has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Chianti classico in Italy.
Strong, deep dark ruby, dark core. Intense nose with notes of tobacco, elderberry, blackberry, ripe dark cherry, with fine herbs in the background. Smooth on the palate, lots of fresh fruit, unfolds with plenty of elegant, well-integrated tannins, polished and very long, with an afterburn on the finish.
