The red wine Cignale IGT, vintage 2008 from the winery Castello di Querceto has been rated in 2013 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling, dark ruby-violet. Initially shows light roasted notes, roasted hazelnuts, some tar, then lots of ripe dark currants, fleshy and full. Beautiful juicy fruit on the palate, unfolds with grippy, well-integrated tannins, still a little nervous, good pressure on the finish.
