Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet colour with opaque core, purple reflections. Intense savoury notes on the nose, juicy berry confit, nougat, subtle ethereal hints of fresh mint, cloves and star anise. Firm tannins on the palate, very mineral, red berries and cherries, complex, sweet and muscular, with a delicate bitter chocolate finish. Considering the vintage, a rather austere wine that has been vinified for ageing.
