Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a lightening rim. Ripe black cherries and dark berry jam underneath noble wood notes and a dark minerality - all in all, a finely fanned bouquet. Powerful and juicy on the palate with pronounced fruit texture, ripe cherries and vivid tannins that cling. Lots of energy and aromatic depth, supported by a fresh structure. A pleasant sweetness in the finish. This will need a few years but has great ageing potential - a real vin de garde.
