Tasting from 13.10.2016: Ulrich Sautter

90-year-old vines. Very closed, fresh black cherry, sour cherry, very silky on the palate, full-bodied, with a slight hint of heat in the transition to retro aromas (almost Marsala-like), subtle acidity, completely homogeneous and relaxed, less mineral than others, but an everybody's darling.
