The red wine Côte du Brouilly "Les sept vignes", vintage 2021 from the winery Château Thivin has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser & Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gamay from the region Beaujolais in France.
Very reductive on the nose with dried meat and smoke. Sinewy, juicy in the mouth, with an underlying suppleness behind the tight structure. Mealy, ripe tannins in medium quantities, with ripe acidity and a compact, still very young but clearly mineral-tinged, finish.
