The red wine »La chapelle« Côte de Brouilly, vintage 2014 from the winery Château Thivin has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tintorera from the region Brouilly in France.
Very closed, with air cherry blossom, ash, hot stone. On the palate a lot of tension and a mineral core, with the fullness of the southern slope in the background, crumbly-grainy tannins, intense fruit on the finish (still youthful in expression). It is a very enigmatic wine that improves more and more when retasted.
