The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brightening garnet red. Charming, inviting nose, aromas of rose petal, pomegranate and raspberry, interwoven. Very polished, lots of finely meshed tannin on the palate, unfolds for a long time, ripe fruit, slight bitter note on the finish.
