The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, medium-dense garnet red. Initially smells of hazelnuts and fresh milk chocolate, fine spice notes, some cherry confit. Unfortunately only medium weight on the palate, somewhat harsh, slightly drying tannins, alcoholic, little charm.
