A nose that takes some getting used to, first boskop compote, cheese rind then with air citrus zest with a touch of cedar wood. Delicate, tasty palate with sinewy, mouthwatering acidity, firm body and pleasant tannin structure. Straightforward and at the same time full-bodied, long-lasting flow. Needs air to develop its complexity. A polarising and characterful wine.
