Tasting from 09.07.2019: Ulrich Sautter

Light golden. Mineral powder, flint, hints of vanilla and delicate floral notes. Buttery softness on the palate, finely resolved extract, immensely cultivated acidity, all components are tightly interwoven and fused, very singular, minerality, texture and juiciness. Yet the wine is only at the beginning of its opening. The body is wide, but completely without heaviness. Fruit is hardly the issue, this is sensual terroir.
