The red wine Côtes du Rhône AOC Villages, vintage 2019 from the winery Ferraton Père & Fils has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Grenache from the region Côtes-du-Rhône-Village in France.
Deep ruby garnet with purple reflections and a delicate ochre rim. Ripe plum fruit and a hint of nougat, with fresh figs in the background and a pleasant herbal savouriness. Juicy, with a fruity texture and ripe tannins, it is mineral on the finish. Opulent, chocolaty style, it has good length and ageing potential.
