The white wine »Castell 49°44’« trocken, vintage 2013 from the winery Fürstlich Castell’sche Domäne has been rated in 2014 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grüner Sylvaner , Gewürztraminer from the region Franconia in Germany.
Strong Traminer bouquet, rose, blood orange, with a hint of Silvaner spice. Medium-bodied on the palate in terms of extract and length. A beautiful aroma, which, however, suggests a little more fullness than the palate delivers.
