Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, aromas of black berry, tobacco, some cherry, dark chocolate, orange zest, and hints of fine oak spices. The juicy palate is complex, and finely savoury with a firm structure and balanced tannins, with fresh, cherry fruit on the persistent finish. Will benefit from bottle ageing.
