The red wine Mittelburgenland DAC Reserve Dürrau, vintage 2015 from the winery IBY Rotweingut Bio has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blaufränkisch from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Dark ruby-garnet. Aromas of red berry, plum, caramel and tobacco make for an attractive bouquet. Good complexity on the palate with dark berry fruit and vanilla underpinned by a delicate mineral note. The tannins are well integrated and the finish is pleasantly long.
