The sweet and dessert wine Südtirol Gewürztraminer Passito Alea Passion DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Kellerei Sankt Pauls has been rated in 2015 by Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling, rich golden yellow. Dense nose, opens with notes of light honey, dried mango and pineapple, also lots of raisins, exciting. Clear, sweet fruit on the palate, spreads out well, a subtle bitter note at the back, but seems a little overcast.
