The white wine Kalkberg Weißburgunder Südtirol DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Kellerei Sankt Pauls has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Intense straw yellow with bright reflections. Ripe red-cheeked apple on the nose, precious wood, quince, vanilla, light caramel and chamomile on the finish. Ripe fruit on the palate, shows a chalky-salty structure, subtly creamy, elegant fresh acidity without being too intrusive, pleasantly long finish.
