The white wine Sanctissimus Weissburgunder Südtirol DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Kellerei Sankt Pauls has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Clear, pale straw yellow. Opens with spicy notes, of anise and fennel, then smells of quince, apple and linden blossom. Displays nice interplay on the palate, lots of sweet texture, textured, extends across the palate, discreet tannin on the finish, which gives the wine drive.
