The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOC, vintage 2011 from the winery Le Guaite di Noemi has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Corvinone Veronese
Dark, bright, rich ruby red. Fragrant and expressive on the nose, notes of raisin, dried cherry, ripe raspberry and strawberry, with elegant vegetal savouriness, red bell pepper and elderberry. Opens up on the palate with sweet texture, tightly woven, slightly grippy, with clear, vivid fruit, but also juicy without losing its drinking flow, long finish.
