The red wine Le Pergole Torte IGT, vintage 2000 from the winery Montevertine has been rated in 2004 with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright garnet red; nose of cloves and sweet cherry fruit, but already very developed, overall also quite simple; shows medium weight on the palate, fine-grained, ripe tannin, subtle cherry notes, the wine already seems very advanced in maturity, should be drunk soon.
