The red wine Le Pergole Torte Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Montevertine has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby with slight brightening at the rim. Intense, appealing nose of pomegranate, blackberries and tobacco. Very juicy in the attack on the palate with course, beautifully ripe berryish fruit. It unfolds with lots of fine-mesh tannin and firm drive on the fine, fresh and long finish.
