The red wine Le Pergole Torte IGT, vintage 2007 from the winery Montevertine has been rated in 2011 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby. Finely drawn nose with notes of ripe dark cherries, wild raspberries, some cloves and laurel, inviting. Very juicy and clear on the palate, describes a beautiful arc, opens with present, pithy tannins, good pressure on the finish.
