The red wine Le Pergole Torte IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Montevertine has been rated in 2015 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Lightening, medium-dense ruby colour. Clear and memorable nose with notes of raspberries and sour cherries, also some strawberry, fennel and aniseed in the background. Polished, fine-meshed tannins, continuously expanding, very juicy, lots of ripe raspberry and plum, long finish.
