The red wine Le Pergole Torte IGT, vintage 2008 from the winery Montevertine has been rated in 2012 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby colour. Finely characterised nose with lots of fresh fruit, especially raspberry and fresh cherry, somewhat delicate. Smooth and playful on the palate, shows lots of juicy fruit, unfolds with elegant tannins, sweet texture, nice drive on the finish.
