The red wine Le Pergole Torte IGT, vintage 2014 from the winery Montevertine has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Very fragrant, appealing nose of fresh cherries, blood orange and pomegranate. Spice and herbs in the background. Juicy and fresh on the palate, lots of textured cherry fruit, pomegranate, finely meshed tannins, clear and and straightforward. Offers nice flow, graphite on the finish.
